Shell Tellus S4 VX 32 is an advanced hydraulic fluid technology designed for use in applications subjected to extremely low ambient temperatures such as arctic or exposed areas.

Fluid type: ISO 6743-4 HV (high viscosity index hydraulic oil)

Main Applications

• Hydraulic systems operating in very low ambient temperatures
• Outdoor/mobile equipment (mining, forestry, arctic use)
• Systems requiring cold start-up with minimal preheating

1. Low Temperature Operation

• Maintains fluidity where standard oils become too thick
• Enables safe start-up at very low temperatures

2. Wide Operating Temperature Range

• Effective from approx. -50°C to +75°C
• Suitable for year-round use

3. High Viscosity Index (VI)

• Very high VI (~300) ensures stable viscosity across temperatures

4. Equipment Protection

• Ashless (zinc-free) anti-wear additives
• Helps reduce wear on pumps and components

5. Cleanliness & Reliability
