CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic Motor Oils are well-balanced combinations of today’s highest quality synthetic base stocks and contain an advanced additive system that meets stringent automotive specifications. They are designed to provide excellent protection in today’s high performance gasoline (including turbocharged and supercharged) engines in passenger cars, vans, sport utility vehicles, and light trucks. These synthetic engine oils demonstrate improved performance in today’s advanced engine designs, and are available in SAE 0W-16, 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 viscosity grades.

APPLICATIONS:


CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic Motor Oils are recommended for passenger cars, sport utility vehicles and light trucks operating on gasoline. They are also recommended for use in gasoline engines which have been converted to operate on compressed natural gas (CNG), liquified natural gas (LNG), and liquified petroleum gas (LPG-which includes propane and butane). Consult the vehicle owner’s manual for proper engine lubricant selection.

CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic Motor Oils meet the performance requirements for the latest gasoline-fueled engine service ILSAC GF-5/Resource Conserving (excludes SAE 0W-16) and API SN and display the API Certification Mark and API Service Symbol. They have also demonstrated benefits in industry accepted fuel economy tests.

CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic SAE 0W-16 Motor Oil is an ultra-low viscosity engine oil and is recommended for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) such as Toyota and Honda where a SAE 0W-16 is specified.

CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic SAE 0W-20 is recommended for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) such as Toyota and Honda where a SAE 0W-20 is specified.

CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic SAE 0W-20, under material code 620860001, is Approved GM dexos1® License GB1 F0707121. CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic SAE 5W-20 is Approved GM dexos1® License GB1 F0415121 and provides excellent performance where Ford WSS-M2C945-A is referenced.

CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic SAE 5W-30 is Approved GM dexos1® License GB1 F0422121 and provides excellent performance where Ford WSS-M2C946-A is referenced.

CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic SAE 10W-30 provides excellent performance where a SAE 10W-30 engine oil is specified. NOTE: CITGO SUPERGARD Full Synthetic Motor Oils are not recommended for use in diesel engines. CITGO CITGARD® Motor Oils are recommended for these applications.
