Mobil DTE Lettered Series are premium quality lubricants primarily intended for continuous reuse in circulation lubrication systems for gears and bearings. They are formulated from high quality base stocks and additives to provide superior protection against rust and corrosion, excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, and a high level of protection against wear. They possess good demulsibility which permits water and other contaminants to separate readily from the oil in the system reservoir, and they have excellent air release properties to minimize compressibility and prevent noisy and erratic operation. Their high viscosity index ensures minimum variation in film thickness and minimum power loss during the warm-up period.
